Dr Emily Horan is a junior doctor currently working as a senior house officer in the field of dermatology and emergency medicine with a special interest in skin cancer and surgery. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Medical Studies, a Doctor of Medicine from Bond University and is currently completing her Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University.
She has experience working in dermatology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, emergency medicine and in rural health. She is an active member on the Queensland Medical Women’s committee, and the Young Australian Federation of Medical Women. She is passionate about raising awareness of for skin cancer and furthering her education and skill set in skin cancer surgery.
